When I started this roofing company in 2004, it was just me with a small crew in my brown Chevy pickup truck. I was 29 years old, and I had a vision to change the image of the roofing industry. Roofing is hard work. It’s a trade that should be respected. What I would see a lot when I went to people’s homes was that look on their faces like, “Who is this guy, I don’t trust him, he’s a contractor.” I also saw owners that didn’t respect what they do or how they deliver their service. I wanted to be different.
My plan was to underpromise and over-deliver. I loved seeing the impact of doing an excellent job on people. Customers were so grateful and happy to pay me with their hard-earned money. It made me want to do it even more.
My vision for this roofing company is still the same: To do great things, but now I get to do it with great people – my team. Every day I see my team serve customers, each other, and their families with excellence. They embody the core values of this business. It beats in their hearts. It is what makes us different from other roofing businesses.
