Western MA Free Roof Giveaway Rules

As we expand our services into Western Massachusetts, we are excited to deepen our commitment to the communities we serve. Giving back has always been a core part of who we are, and every year since 2017, we have selected a local family or individual to receive a brand-new roof at no cost as a way of saying thank you to the people who have supported us. 

We know that replacing a roof is a major expense, and for many, it can feel overwhelming. In today’s economy, helping neighbors with something as essential as a safe, secure home is more important than ever. 

As we grow throughout Western Massachusetts and the surrounding region, we want to invest in the people who make these communities special. Friends, family members and neighbors are invited to nominate deserving individuals by sharing stories of resilience, sacrifice, kindness and perseverance.

For every nomination received, AVR will donate $100 to Project New Hope, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans and their families, up to a total donation of $3,000. It’s one more way this giveaway can give back—supporting a deserving homeowner while also helping veterans and families throughout the Western Massachusetts community.Every nomination is carefully reviewed and one deserving recipient will be selected to receive the gift of a new roof, providing peace of mind, protection and security for years to come.

Rules & Qualifications

  • Nominations are NOW OPEN. Enter your submissions before end of day Sunday, November 1, 2026.
  • You cannot be self-nominated.
  • Nominees must own and live in the residence that will receive the new roof.
  • Must be a Western Massachusetts resident who is 18 years or older.
  • Identification must be produced on request.
  • AVR reserves the right to inspect the property before selecting a recipient and before beginning work.
  • The roof replacement will be scheduled at AVR's discretion and is subject to weather conditions, material availability and other factors.
  • Employees of Adam Vaillancourt Roofing & Gutters, advertising, promotional agencies and their respective affiliates and associates are not eligible for this giveaway.
  • Not redeemable for cash and must be accepted as awarded.
  • All decisions of Adam Vaillancourt Roofing & Gutters are final.
  • All nomination materials submitted, including photos, videos and written content, become the property of Adam Vaillancourt Roofing & Gutters.
  • The selected recipient must be willing to possibly have their story, name, photographs, videos and project details shared by Adam Vaillancourt Roofing & Gutters through social media, marketing materials, press releases and other media outlets, and may be asked to participate in interviews related to the program.
  • The selected recipient will receive one residential roof replacement from Adam Vaillancourt Roofing & Gutters.
  • Homeowners who have filed previous insurance claims for roof repair will not be eligible.
  • All prizes are non-transferable.
  • Incomplete nominations or nominations containing false, misleading or inaccurate information may be disqualified.
